Triestina kaatoi kauden avauksessaan Arzignanon 3-0 ja Eetu viimeisteli heti komeasti kauden avausmaalinsa (2-0).

Triestinaan nimetty uusi koutsi (Pep Clotet). Eetu ei jäänyt miettimään tämän vaikutuksia, vaan teki ihan ok-tason lisäaikamaalin eilen päästyään lopussa kentälle. Triestina kyntää Serie C:n A-lohkon jumbona, Vertainen tehnyt toistaiseksi tehot 3+1 kymmeneen matsiin.

Vertainen taitaa olla lopultakin jättämässä tuon huumoriseuran tammikuun ikkunassa, saman sarjatason (Serie C) Pescara ainakin vaihtoehtona. Olisi ainakin oman b-lohkonsa kärkipään jengejä c-lohkon häntäpäässä kyntävän Triestinan sijaan. Vertaisesta oli myös iso juttu Urheilulehdessä, löytynee kohta netistäkin.
